Sabine Rosenberg

With a background in theatre and multi-media along with aspirations for a more formal education, Sabine Rosenberg completed the double-major program in Computation Arts and Computer Science (B.Comp.Sc.,’09) at Concordia University. Sabine went on to complete a Masters of Computer Science in 2013 with a focus in Natural Language Processing. While pursuing her graduate studies, Sabine was also a Research Assistant in the Computational Linguistics Lab at Concordia University. Currently, Sabine is Technical Director for Obx Labs/AbTeC as well as Computation Lab Coordinator in the Dept of Design and Computation Arts at Concordia University.

Co-founded by Skawennati and Jason Edward Lewis, AbTeC launched IIF in 2015 in partnership with Concordia University, Kahnawake Education Centre, Kanien’keháka Onkwawén:na Raotitióhkwa Language and Cultural Center, Kontinónhstats Mohawk Language Custodians Association, Dechinta Bush University Centre for Research and Learning, ImagineNATIVE Film + Media Festival, MacKenzie Gallery, Behaviour Interactive, University of British Columbia Okanagan’s Centre for Indigenous Media Arts, and Western Arctic Moving Pictures.
