Rian is a doctoral student in the Learning Design and Technology program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has been a public school teacher in Honolulu, Hawaii and now works as an Instructional Designer at the University of Hawaii at West Oahu. Her research interests are broad and ever expanding, but often relate to connectedness, game design, and teacher education.
