Dawson / Welcome to AbTeC Island

For our third and final visit with students from the Journeys & Crossroads programs, participants were guided on a tour of AbTeC Island, our virtual Second Life headquarters. Many of the locations on the island feature sets and costumes from Skawennati’s various machinima, as well as an area for building, and our virtual exhibition space AbTeC Gallery. Our island is meant to act as a place for Indigenous folks to meet, commingle, and collaborate. It was great to have so many of our young relatives on the island at once. We hope to see you around in the future!
