Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies UBC / Welcome to AbTeC Island

A group of students from UBC’s Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies came to AbTeC Island to participate in a condensed version of our 7th Gen Avatar Design workshop. Participants were first given a crash course on the basics of customizing a Second Life avatar; Next they were shown how to take high quality machinimagraphs using Second Life’s built in snapshot tool.Thank you to all who participated! It was so much fun to watch everyone’s virtual selves come to life.
