Jocelyn Makiʻilei Ishihara is a Theatre graduate from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa. Born and raised in Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu she has worked on productions Na Kau a Hiʻiaka, Mai Poina, and Lāʻieikawai which have rekindled her love and commitment to ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi/ʻike Hawaiʻi. Working as the Assistant Theatre Manager of Paliku Theatre at Windward Community College as well as an actress with the Honolulu Theatre for Youth she spends her spare time as a pani hakahaka, singer, and volunteer with Kaneohe Kiwanis Club.
