John Mervin is an award winning animator who has been working with Blender since he was 11. He is a self taught artist and computer graphics enthusiast who’s skills have had international acclaim. Although he would say he’s more of a movie guy than a gaming guy, he believes that the medium of video games to be an extraordinarily exciting art form. His recent animated work, a Vimeo Staff Pick film “The Optimist” was a film festival favorite and since its release has inspired much artistic interpretation. As of this year he is developing a stereoscopic 3D short film as well as his first feature length film.
